Revear Decker

Revear Decker, 96, of Bee Spring passed away at 2:30 AM Sunday Oct. 31, 2021 at Springview Health and Rehab Center in Leitchfield.

The Edmonson County native was a concrete finisher, a US Army World War II veteran and attended Decker Holiness Church and Long Branch Church. He was a son of the late Pete Decker and Rena Meredith Decker and the husband of the late Dorothy Meredith Decker. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Seward Decker, Trenton Decker, Leon Decker, Eulas Decker and Darrell Decker; a great grandson, Silas Brauner; and four sisters-in-law, Jewell Decker, Ovalene Decker, Anna Marie Decker and Norma Jean Decker.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Gravil Funeral Home after which burial with military honors will take place in John Stevenson Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-7 PM Wednesday and after 9:00 AM Thursday.

Surviving are a daughter, Patty S. Decker of Kennesaw, GA; five sons, Danny J. Decker (Marilyn) and Don Decker (Lisa) both of Brownsville, Dallas Decker (Gail) of Morganfield, Jimmy Decker (Gail) of Elizabethtown and Kenny Decker (Dawn) of Bee Spring; two brothers, D.C. Decker of Bee Spring and Vanco Decker of Peoria, IL; a sister-in-law, Willodean Decker of Bee Spring; ten grandchildren, Cindy Vincent, Brian Decker, Ricky Decker, Veronica Meredith, Julie Patton, Melissa Gegenheimer, Joey Decker, Collin Hasty, Ethan Decker and Aaron Decker; two step granddaughters, Melissa and Ashley; 20 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
