Thelma Jean Blankenship

Thelma Jean Blankenship, 68, of Fountain Run, KY, passed away Saturday,

October 30, 2021 at Baptist Health in Hardin County, KY. Jean was born on

May 5, 1953 in Monroe County, KY, a daughter of the late Ella Virginia

(Geralds) and William “Jack” Meadors.

On December 20, 2007, she married Gary Wayne Blankenship in Simpson County,

KY.

Jean was a member of Gamaliel First Baptist Church, she worked as a

waitress and was a foster grandparent at Austin Tracy Elementary School.

Jean is survived by her husband, Gary Blankenship, of Fountain Run, KY;

son, William Thompson, of Fountain Run, KY; daughter, Amanda Anderson, of

Scottsville, KY; sister, Joyce Ryherd, and husband, Charles, of Gamaliel,

KY; three grandchildren, Alexa, Braxton and Kenlie Anderson; several

extended family members also survive.

Funeral services will be held at Fountain Run Funeral Home on Thursday,

November 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow at Neal Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 3, from 4-8 PM, and Thursday,

8:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at Fountain Run Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fountain Run Funeral Home.
