Haskell McCubbins

Haskell McCubbins, 85, of Munfordville, Ky passed away peacefully at home on October 14th, 2021 with his wife, Annette and daughters by his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Linnie McCubbins, his siblings, Mary Alice Templeman, Nancy Bolton, Charlie Sherman McCubbins, Geneva McCubbins, Theodore McCubbins, Bertha Jewel Wilkerson, Johnnie McCubbins, Charlene Webb, Mike McCubbins, and Shirley McCubbins.He is survived by his wife of 63 years Annette. Three daughters, Jane Ann Tharp;  (Barry), Sherice Mobley (David), Lucindy Atwell (Don) and grandchildren, Amanda Peterson, Jacob Spradlin (Megan), Adam Atwell (Brianna), Matthew
Atwell (Camdyn), two great-grandchildren, Cooper and Remi Atwell and several nieces and nephews.

Haskell lived on his family farm all his life, and retired from Gates Rubber  Company in Elizabethtown, KY. He came to know the Lord at an early age. Haskell leaves a legacy of singing gospel music, first with his brothers, and then
with his wife and daughters. He was an active member of the Gideons. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Gideons International.

Visitation will be at Sego Funeral Home on Saturday, October 16th from 1pm to 8pm and at Munfordville Baptist Church on Sunday, October 17th from 12pm to 2pm with the funeral on Sunday at 2pm.

Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in the McCubbins family cemetery on Hwy 88, 2 ½ miles west of Munfordville.

Masks are recommended during visitation due to COVID.
