Frank DeFilippo III, 80, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born July 3, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Frank DeFilippo II and Jeanie Sincic DeFilippo. Frank was a licensed cosmetologist for Custom Cuts before his retirement and was a proud United States Air Force Veteran. Mr. DeFilippo loved growing flowers and plants from seeds, gardening, and raising his chickens. Frank never met a stranger and was very active in the First Church of the Nazarene where he was a member.
Survivors include his loving wife, Lynn Marie DeFilippo; two sons, Aaron DeFilippo (fiancée Gyneen Boudreaux) and Bryan DeFilippo; two grandchildren, Trista DeFilippo and Weston Depp; two great grandchildren, Jamilyn Depp and Jessilyn Depp; four sisters, Frani Moir, Donna Cooper, Janet DeFilippo, Terri DeFilippo; one brother, Tony DeFilippo; and his pastor and friend, Richard Johnson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Leona Utchman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
The family has chosen cremation. A memorial service for Mr. DeFilippo will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 28th at the First Church of the Nazarene 600 E Main Street Glasgow, Kentucky 42141. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the church. A. F. Crow & Son is both honored and privileged to be entrusted in the care of Mr. DeFilippo.
