Darla Faye Shirley Hester, age 60, of Glasgow passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at T J Samson Hospital. Born December 31, 1960 in Glasgow, she was the daughter of Clarence Shirley and Wanda Mae Glass.
She worked at several factories and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one son, Justin (Kaiseylayne) Hester, Glasgow; one grandchild, Emersyn Rae Hester; her son’s grandmother, Joyce “Ma” Hester; sister- in- law, Wendy Haney; father of her son, Robert Hester; and special friend, Jerry Landrum.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 13, 2021, 2:00 P.M. at McMurtrey Funeral Home with Frank Stratton officiating. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, September 13, after 11:00 A.M. until time of services at 2:00.
