Erma Dean Johnson Hogan, 87, of Brownsville died Tuesday Aug. 24, 2021 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion United Baptist
Church. She was a daughter of the late Blaine Johnson and Lucy Vincent Johnson and
the wife of the late Elmer G. Hogan. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard G.
“Ricky” Hogan; a grandson, Michael Campbell; and eight siblings.
Surviving are a daughter, Jannie Campbell of Brownsville; two sons, Bennie Hogan
(Jeannine) of Mammoth Cave and Keith Hogan(Martha) of Brownsville; nine
grandchildren, Jeremy Hogan, Emily Hogan, Tracy Campbell, Felicia Graham, Brandon
Hogan, Whitney Moon, Alicia Greene, Chase Hogan, Fallon Willoughby and Becky
Langston; eight step grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; and five great great
grandchildren.
Funeral services for Erma Dean Johnson Hogan will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Poplar Springs United Baptist Church with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Thursday and 11 AM-7 PM Friday at Gravil Funeral Home and after 11:00 AM Saturday at the church.
