Barbara Ann Jones, 75, of Glasgow, Kentucky went to be with her Lord, Monday, July 5, 2021 at her son’s residence. She was born January 29, 1946 in Dobbstown, Kentucky to the late Dave E. King and Carrie T. Corder. Barbara worked for the State Nursing Facility as a CNA for a few years. Her most recent job was a sales associate at Walmart and she was a longtime member of Coral Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include, one son, Forrest Gene Burke (Wendy) of Glasgow, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Corban Drake Burke (Heather) of Glasgow, Kentucky and Emily Lauren Burke Reballosa (Jaden) of Washington; one great-grandchild, Kinsley Forbis of Glasgow, Kentucky; five brothers, Eugene Ellis King (Teresa) of Monticello, Kentucky, Lee Roy King of Muncie, Indiana, Gary Brent King of Muncie, Indiana, Delynn Michael King (Marilyn) of Springhill, Tennessee, Roger Gayle King (Barbara) of Parker, Indiana; one sister, Alma Jo Groce of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and several nieces, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby K. Jones and brother, Donald Ray King.
The funeral service for Mrs. Jones will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, July 8th at
A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
