Mary Ann Simmons, 89, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at her residence. She was born June 12, 1932 in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late Ivan Richardson and Maoma Spurling Richardson. Mary Ann was a Deputy Clerk for the Barren County Court Clerk’s Office and a member of South Green Church of Christ. She was also a longtime member and past president of the Garden Club.
Survivors include, three daughters, Vickie Jenkins (Larry), Sharon Simmons, Susan Simmons, all of Glasgow, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Laura Gay (Dave), Julie Boyer (Brice), Angela Travis (Jody), Kim Davidson (Chad); ten great-grandchildren; and two brothers-in-law, Bobby Simmons of Paducah, Kentucky and Guy Simmons (Annette) of Glasgow, Kentucky.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Mrs. Simmons Caregivers, Helen Browning, Marilyn Shaw, and Connie Eaton for providing excellent and loving care.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Rollin Simmons.
The funeral service for Mrs. Simmons will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 21st at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
