Stephen Travis Johnson, 65, of Center passed away suddenly at his home Sunday, June 6, 2021. Born August 23, 1955 he was the son of the late Travis and Euberta Trowbridge Johnson.
Steve was a 1973 graduate of Metcalfe County High School. In 1993 Steve went to work with his father at Farm Bureau Insurance in Edmonton. After his father’s retirement Steve continued to operate the company until his retirement.
Steve is survived by one son, Miles Johnson of Bowling Green. Two sisters. Reamona Rutherford and husband Gary of Knob Lick. Martha King of North Carolina.
Graveside services for Steve will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, June 10th at the Houk Cemetery. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
