Kenneth Tracy

Kenneth Tracy, 78, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.  The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of G. E. and A. O. Smith, a former employee of Holley Carburetor and Gerald Printing and a member of New Salem Missionary Baptist Church where he serves at deacon and church trustee and a former church clerk and song leader.  He was the son of the late Willis Cortez Tracy and Jessie Clay Downing Tracy. 

 

He is survived by his wife of 53 years:  Paulette Tracy, Scottsville, KY; 

2 sons:  Jeff Tracy and Terry Tracy, both of Scottsville, KY; 

2 grandsons:  Tucker Tracy and Blayne Tracy; 

3 cousins:  Eddie Jones and wife, Janes, Fountain Run, KY; Gary Jones and wife, Sheila, and Richard Downing and wife, Carol, all of Scottsville, KY; 

3 sisters-in-law:  Carol Cook and husband, Gary; Beverly Burton and husband, Dennis, and Phyllis Wilson, all of Scottsville, KY; 

Several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law:  Burl Wilson. 

 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Wilson and Bro. Steve Skinner officiating and burial in New Salem Cemetery.   Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 7:00 a.m. Tuesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  According to the Kentucky Funeral Director’s Association, social distancing and face masks are required and there is NO PUBLIC lounge available.
