David Harold Fields, 64, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 at his residence. The Ft. Wainwright, AK native was a former employee of Yale Kentuckiana and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was a son of the late Bethel Fields and Betty Lois Mullins Fields, who survives.
He is survived by his wife: Jeannie Fields, Scottsville, KY;
His mother: Betty Fields, Mt. Washington, KY;
2 sons: Danny Wilson and wife, Kristy and Michael Wilson and wife, Brooke, all of Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter: Holly Smith and husband, Nathan, Shelbyville, KY;
2 brothers: Eric Fields and wife, Kristi, and Bill Brady, all of Louisville, KY;
5 sisters: Karen Schmieder, Fisherville, KY; Belinda Wright and husband, Donnie, Scottsville, KY; MaryLynn Brady and Vicky Brady, both of Louisville, KY; Joni Wright and husband, Scott, Taylorsville, KY;
4 grandchildren: Raegyn, Lincoln, Kellan and Chase Wilson; and an unborn granddaughter: Amelia Smith;
Several nieces and nephews and
His beloved fur baby: Poppy.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Tony Brady.
Cremation was chosen and visitation with the family will be 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Goad Funeral Home.
