James Calvin Wylie, 76, of Brownsville passed away Tuesday April 13, 2021 at his home.
The Cave City native was a farmer, a saw mill worker, a graduate of Campbellsville College, a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Freedom Warriors Veterans Organization. He was the son of the late Calvin Wylie and Ella Mae Roller Wylie. He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Wylie.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at the Veteran Community Center (Home of the Freedom Warriors Veterans Org.), 2244 Beckton Rd. in Glasgow. No visitation is scheduled. Gravil Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Trahan Wylie; a daughter, Cindy Bush (Walter) of Horse Cave; three sons, Kenny Wylie and Eric Wylie both of Horse Cave and Mike Wylie (Kim) of Glasgow; a step daughter, Sabrina Warner (Jonathan) of Sweeden; two step sons, Raymond Ledet (Vanessa) and Jerry Gaudet (Cassie) both of Houma, LA; a sister, Gail Bushong of Franklin; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
