Joe David Whitlow, 62, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Glasgow, KY native was a former employee of Sumitomo and former member of the National Guard and a son of the late Ernest Preston Whitlow (who passed away 3 days following his death) and Elizabeth Earline Dillard Whitlow.
He is survived by 2 brothers: Mike Whitlow and wife, Kaneal, Scottsville, KY; Daniel Whitlow and wife, Bev, Indianapolis, IN;
1 son: David Whitlow, Indianapolis, IN;
1 daughter: Kimberly Dozier and husband, Devin, Indianapolis, IN;
4 grandchildren: Addison Veatch, Charlie Veatch, Ashton Dozier and Allyna Dozier;
Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother: John Wayne Whitlow.
Joint funeral service with his father will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday and after 7:00 A.M. Saturday until funeral time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for funeral expenses. Donations maybe made at Goad Funeral Home. According to the Kentucky Funeral Director’s Association social distancing and face mask are REQUIRED and NO PUBLIC lounge is available.
