Traffic on the Glasgow Square will be impacted on July 25 and July 26 due to multiple public events.
On Friday, July 25, Entertain Glasgow will have one of their free summer concerts featuring Tyrone Dunn and Kin-Foke and Van Winkle and the Spirits with gates opening at 5 p.m. and the music beginning at 7 p.m., according to Entertain Glasgow. Because of the concert, the Glasgow Police Department states the east side of the Square — the city hall side — will close at 8 a.m. with the north side to follow at 1 p.m. and the south side at 4 p.m.
“They will remain closed until the event and clean up are complete,” a Glasgow police press release states.
On the next day, Saturday, July 26, the Square will be closed from 8 a.m. until noon due to the Cars and Coffee event.
“Please use caution if traveling in these areas,” the release states.
