Jerome N. Jordan, 61, of Cave City, was arrested Wednesday in Glasgow after police responded to a complaint involving a person behind the wheel of a van in traffic.

GLASGOW — A Cave City man was arrested Wednesday at the intersection of Happy Valley Road and Veterans Outer Loop.
Glasgow Police responded to a complaint, which stated a person appeared to be passed out behind the steering wheel of a van. The man was later identified as 61-year-old Jerome N. Jordan.
Police asked the man to exit the vehicle so they could preform field sobriety tests. Officers determined he was impaired. He was also allegedly in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine inside a coat pocket.
Jordan faces charges relating to operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.
The arrest was made by Officer Josh Hardin and assisted by Sgt. Wesley Hicks.
