PARK CITY — A Bonnieville woman died in a Barren County crash late Saturday along Stovall Road.
Kentucky State Police responded to the crash around 10:15 p.m. The Barren County Sheriff’s Office had responded earlier. An eyewitness said she called emergency personnel around 9:55 p.m. after she heard a crash and noticed a vehicle in a fence row.
The single vehicle collision occured near 1442 Stovall Road, police said.
A preliminary investigation found Kenzi B. Riggs, 20, was driving along the roadway in the southbound direction. Her vehicle exited the roadway and it overturned. Riggs was flown to TriStar Skyline Hospital in Nashville. She was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to a Monday news release.
Police said one other person was inside Riggs’ 2008 Ford Focus. He was identified as Isaiah Meredith, 22, of Glasgow. He was uninjured in the collision.
The investigation continues and is being led by Trooper Bo Hubbard.
