Johnnie S. Bryant, 77, of Summer Shade passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Johnnie was born October 16, 1944 in Metcalfe County to the late Roscoe and Lucy Bushong Bryant. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four sons. Johnnie Wallace Bryant, Jason, Michael and Johnnie Lee Bryant. Two brothers and four sisters. Ike and Bobby Bryant, Lois Bryant, Pearl Syra, Renie Westmoreland and Eunice Nash.
Johnnie is survived by two children. Stinson Bryant of Edmonton and Cynthia Bryant of Summer Shade. A sister Irene McCoy of Summer Shade. Two brothers, Van and Mike Bryant both of Edmonton. Seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Johnnie Bryant will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 7th at the Butler Funeral Home with burial in the Skaggs Creek Cemetery at Tompkinsville. Visitation will be from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM Monday and after 9:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
