Mary Frankie Craine Gossett, age 73 of Horse Cave, departed this life on Monday, November 29, 2021 at her residence. The Barren County native was born on January 14, 1948 to the late Silas and Velma Dennis Craine. She was married to her devoted husband of forty-five years, Howard Douglas Gossett.
Mary worked for years as a housewife and farmer. She was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, and Servant Valley United Baptist Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves to honor her memory—her siblings, George Craine (Regina) of Horse Cave, Marsha Glass of Munfordville, Shirley Reynolds (Anthony) of Cedar Springs and Barbara Sturgeon of Cave City, along with several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Jesse, J.R., Michael and Jerry Craine, and one sister, Beulah Brown.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
