Lonnie Nelson Deweese, 74, of Tompkinsville, KY, formerly of Cave City, KY, passed away Sunday, November 28th, at his home.
Lonnie was born in Glasgow, KY on August 7, 1947, a son of the late Bess (Smith) and Lonzo “Lonnie” Deweese.
On January 26, 2002, he married Marilyn (Barnes) Deweese in Scottsville, KY. Marilyn survives of Tompkinsville, KY.
Lonnie is also survived by a daughter, Melissa Deweese Brown, and husband, Jayson, of Glasgow, KY; a step daughter, Amy Turner, and husband, Scott,of Tompkinsville, KY, and a step son,Troy Cammack, and wife, Julie, of Tompkinsville, KY; six grandchildren, Chandler Turner, Mason Turner, Ethan Cammack, Gage Turner, Seth Cammack and Virginia “Jenna Claire” Turner.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 1st at Athens Missionary Baptist Church in Tompkinsville, KY.
Visitation with the family will be after 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at Athens Missionary Baptist Church, 46 Athens Church Rd., Tompkinsville, KY 42167.
