Rita Ann Wilson, 61, Smiths Grove, died Monday, November 22, 2021 at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of Barbara Franklin Poteet and the late John Clinton Poteet. She was a stay-at-home Mom and a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Tim Wilson; five children: Mark Wilson, Timothy Wilson (Sarah), Heather Wilson, Brandon Wilson (Tammy), and Bryson Wilson; eight grandchildren: Tyler, Kayleigh, Addie, Austin, Gavin, Allysa, Emory, and Hadley Wilson; one great-grandson, Canaan Wilson; her mother, Barbara Poteet; one brother, Johnny Poteet; two sisters: Karen Thompson and Christie Creek; one sister-in-law, Eva Wilson; three brothers-in-law: Ricky Wilson, Bryant Wilson, and Curtis Wilson; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 12 noon Friday at the Wilson Family Farm with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
