Mrs. Irene (Blythe) Warren

Mrs. Irene (Blythe) Warren, age 90, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away

Sunday, November 21, 2021, at The Monroe County Medical Center.  Irene was

born on January 17, 1931, in Tompkinsville, a daughter of the late Robert

Allen and Lucy (Young) Blythe.  She enjoyed quilting and sewing, and bible

study. She attended Tompkinsville Church of Christ.

 

She is survived by her children; Roy Allen Warren and his wife Robin of

South Carolina, Kathy Hornocker of Eighty-Eight, Robert Lee Warren and his

wife Janet of Indiana, Steven Ray Warren of Eighty-Eight, and Jeffrey Marrs

Warren and his wife Lisa of Tompkinsville. Her grandchildren; Donnie Joe,

and Della Marie Warren, April Pedigo, Kathy Gosser, Joseph Tyler Warren,

Natasha Whitehead, Natalie Warren, and several great-grandchildren also

survive.

 

 

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Ernest

Truman Warren, four brothers, three sisters, and one great-grandson, Kyle.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Irene will be conducted on Wednesday, November

24, 2021, at 12 noon from Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with

burial to follow in The Old Mt. Herman Cemetery.  The friends will receive

visitors on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., and again on Wednesday from

9:00 a.m. until time for services.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may take the form of donations

to assist the family with final expenses. Those may be made at the Funeral

Home or mailed to Bartley & Sons, 204 Columbia Avenue, Tompkinsville,

Kentucky 42167.
