Edmonson County man arrested, accused of shooting brother

ROCKY HILL, Ky – A man accused of shooting his brother is now behind bars, according to the Kentucky State Police.

In late September of this year, the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office called the KSP to investigate a shooting that occurred in the Rocky Hill community.

When troopers arrived, they found 28-year-old Brett Brady with a gunshot wound to his arm.

State Police say that it appears that Brett was shot by his brother, 26-year-0ld Cody Brady, during an altercation.

Brett was transported to the hospital for treatment and the search began for Cody.

On Saturday, October 16, around noon, KSP located Cody Brady at a residence on Rocky Hill Rd.

After a short stand-off, he was taken into custody and lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.

Cody Brady was charged with:

  • 1st degree assault
  • 1st degree robbery
  • Theft by unlawful taking, auto valued at $10,000 or more.

The police are continuing to investigate
