Mary Ellen Lile age 77 of Munfordville passed away Wednesday morning at Baptist Health Hardin. She was born in Bonnieville to the late Russell & Ruth Pence Hodges. Mary moved to Munfordville after her husband David passed away and enjoyed working in her flowers and yard. She was a member of the Campground United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by two brothers Ronnie & Jimmy Hodges.
She is survived by two sons-Steve Carver and Joey Carver both of Bonnieville
Two daughters-Sandy Carver of Munfordville and Carol Cottrell of Louisville
One step-daughter-Stephanie Coyle of Louisville
One sister-Martha Gail Highbaugh of Bonnieville
8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren
Funeral services for Mary Ellen Lile will be 1pm Saturday, Sept. 25th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with burial in the Campground Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1-8pm and will continue after 8am Saturday at the Sego Funeral Home until time for services. Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
