Hazel Rucker age 89 of Sonora passed away Monday at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
She was born in Bonnieville on December 13, 1931 to the late Joe Murphy, Sr. & Nellie Mae Hawkins Murphy.
Ms. Rucker was a housewife and a member of the Leitchfield Crossing Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Russell, three sons Lennie, David & Kevin Rucker, a brother Roger Murphy, and two sisters Dorothy Marr & Bonnie Hutcheson.
She is survived by two sons Larry Rucker of Munfordville & Daryl Rucker of Upton
Two daughters Mavonia Deaton of Sonora & Connie Moungey of Munfordville
One brother Rev. Joe Murphy, Jr. of Bonnieville
One sister Diane Bratcher of Cub Run
17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren & 9 great-great-grandchildren
There will not be any visitation or service at this time, the family chose cremation.
Sego Funeral Home assisted the family with their cremation choice.
