Michelle (Brisse) Woodard Turner, 63, of the Mt. Hermon community passed away Friday, September 10th, at her home. Michelle was born in New Hampshire on March 13, 1958, a daughter of Lorraine Brisse and the late William Brisse. She was a member of Bethlehem Church at Mt. Hermon. She moved to Tompkinsville to work at Belden Corporation. She was currently employed by South Wire in Brimming, IN. Michelle was also a member of the Eastern Star. Michelle married Mervin Harland Turner on April 5, 2003. Michelle is survived by her husband, Mervin Turner, of Mt. Hermon, KY; mother, Lorraine Brisse, of Seattle, WA; two step daughters, Kristie Turner McPherson, of Gamaliel, KY and Shanda Turner, of Gamaliel, KY; a step son, Shadd Turner, of Gamalel, KY; eight step grandchildren, Kyle McPherson and wife, Chastin; Kole and Kolby McPherson; Clayton, Jon Mark and Luke Holder; Jake and Maddie Turner. Michelle is also survived by two brothers, Frank Brisse and Matt Brisse, both of Seattle, WA. and a nephew, Luke Brisse. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 15th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, 4-8 PM, with Eastern Star Rights beginning at 7:00 PM, and will continue Wednesday morning at 8:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michelle’s memory may be made to Kosairs Children Hospital or American Cancer Society.
