Madgelene Cardwell Raymer Lashley, 91, of Pinellas Park, FL passed away Sept. 6, 2021 at Palm Gardens of Pinellas.
The Edmonson County native was a homemaker. a retired waitress of 64 years, a member of Chapter 32 Disabled American Veterans Women’s Auxiliary and a member of Park City Methodist Church. She was a daughter of the late Julius Cardwell and Lonis Basham Cardwell and the wife of the late Vernon Raymer. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Neail Cardwell and Charles “Jimmy” Cardwell.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday Sept. 18, 2021 at Kyrock Cemetery. Gravil Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are two daughters, Gwen Carroll of Port Charlotte, FL and Karen Davis (Dale) of Pinellas Park, FL; three sisters, Peggy Johnson of Sweeden, Carol Eiler of McDonough, GA and Regina Billings (Austin) of Murfreesboro, TN; four grandchildren, Mark Anderson, Melissa Daniels, Sarah Davis and Laura Davis; and many nieces and nephews.
