Mr. Terry Wayne Claywell of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky having attained the age of 63 years, 2 months & 23 days. He was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on Friday, May 30, 1958 the son of Gloud & Mary (Anderson) Claywell. He was of the Baptist Faith, a spreader in the cutting department of Bobs Evans Mfg., and a truck driver for Lyons Lumber Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Claywell, Roy Claywell, Leland Claywell, sister, Magdline Richards.
He is survived by his special friend, Betty Sue Jones of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, daughter, Sarah Cossel of Franklin, Kentucky, siblings, Mildred York of New Castle, Indiana, John (& Brenda) Claywell of Burkesville, Kentucky, Jimmy (& Betty) Claywell of Burkesville, Kentucky, Nelda (& Michael ) Shirley Tompkinsville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Kelsey, Kyrah, Laife.
The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 26, 2021 after 10:00 a.m. at Norris-New Funeral Home until the funeral hour on Thursday. Burial will be in the Smith Grove Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky is honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
