Willodean Lindsey Johnson

Willodean Lindsey Johnson, 85, of Smiths Grove passed away Thursday Aug. 12, 2021 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a seamstress, a homemaker and a member of Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Jay Lindsey and Lillie Farris Lindsey and the wife of the late James Oval Johnson. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Debbie Johnson and Shelia K. Johnson; four sisters, Edith Chambers, Louise Wilson, Lucille Bratcher and Pearl York; and three brothers, Edmond Lindsey, Junior Lindsey and Joe York.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation will take place 4-8 PM Saturday and after 9:00 AM Sunday.
Surviving are three sons, David Johnson (Ruth) of Brownsville and Dennis Johnson and Andrew Johnson both of Smiths Grove; a daughter, Jenny Hogan of Falls of Rough; two sisters, Helen Lashley and Shirley Stewart both of Brownsville; twelve grandchildren, Wayne Spillman, Daisy Judd, Jason Vincent, Justin Vincent, Jeremy Vincent, Tina Walden, Mickey Johnson, JoAnna Forbes, Amberly Young, Andrea Johnson, Ariel Herrington and Adam Johnson; 23 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
