Bowling Green man arrested after brief pursuit

On Wednesday, June 29,  the Glasgow Police Department received a BOLO (Be On the Look Out) of a subject and vehicle description that was involved in a shooting in Bowling Green and wanted for questioning.
At 4:40 pm, Officer Moore located the vehicle and suspect matching that description on Humble Avenue and attempted a traffic stop. The subject failed to stop and turned eastbound on East Main Street and continued about 3.5 miles on Burkesville Road before coming to a stop.
Officers located syringes, digital scales, Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia and a 9 mm handgun inside the vehicle. Officers also confirmed the vehicle was stolen.
Stephen H. Flaherty of Bowling Green, Ky was arrested and charged with:
– Operating On Suspended Or Revoked Operators License
– 2nd Degree Fleeing Or Evading Police
– 2nd Degree Wanton Endangerment (Police Officer)
– Receiving Stolen Property $10,000.00
– 1st Degree Possession Control Substance (Methamphetamine ) 3rd of more offense
– Possession Drug Paraphernalia
– Possession Of Handgun By Convicted Felon.
Flaherty was also served with warrants for Probation Violation (For Felony Offense) and Failure To Appear.
The arrest was made by Officer Andrew Moore, assisted by Sgt. Micheal Burgan, Barren County Sheriff Department and KSP.
