John Walter Bunch, Jr.

John Walter Bunch, Jr., age 90, entered into his heavenly rest with his savior, Jesus Christ, on June 5, 2021. He peacefully passed at the Shanti Niketan HospiceHouse in Glasgow, Ky. Junior was a lifelong farmer and member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church since 1964. He is survived by his loving farmer’s wife of 69 years, Bessie Carter Bunch; two daughters, Sheila Wilson (Cole) and Beth Wagner (Michael); grandchildren, Jonathon Wilson (Micah), Eli Wagner (Maggie), and Evan Wagner; great grandchildren, Laney Grace Wilson, Layla Kate Wilson, and Baxlee Mae Wagner; sisters in law, Lena Bunch, Katherine Rogers, Nancy Settle (Bill), and Frances Burdette; a special thanks to all of his caregivers, Karen Brooks, Cindy Byrd Gibbons, Lisa Ervin, Connie Groce, and Teresa Jennings; also would like to thank, Dr. Shannon Watkins & Staff, Dr. Brad Mallory & Staff, Dr. Pamela Smith & Staff, TJ Home Care Team, and Shanti NiketanHospice House Team. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his brother, Gaylord Bunch. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Tuesday, June 8th at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11:00am until time for service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request that a memorial donation may be made in memory of Junior, to Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. A.F.
