BEE SPRING, Ky. – A Jefferson County woman is dead following a crash in Edmonson County Monday.
Kentucky State Police responded to the crash in the 10,000 block of Kentucky 259. The crash happened just before 2 p.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates Julia E. Broderick, 46, of Louisville, was driving southbound in a 2007 Honda Accord. Her vehicle crossed the center line of the roadway and crashed into a 2012 GMC truck, according to KSP.
Stanley K. Bragg, 54, of Smiths Grove, was driving the truck northbound. A passenger was also inside his truck. Police identified that person as Stanley V. Bragg, 75, and they were both taken to the Medical Center at Bowling Green. They were transported with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation continues and is led by Trooper Mike Wathen.
