Ruby Jewell Blankenship, 82, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at her residence. The Franklin County, TN native was a homemaker and a daughter of the late Lawrence Benjamin Hill and Ruby Bell Brewer Hill.
She is survived by her husband: Russell Neal Blankenship, Scottsville, KY;
4 sons: John Edward Lee, Jr. (Betty), Manchester, TN; Matthew Wayne Lee (Donna), Portland, TN; Billy Edward Lee (Paige), Richmond, VA and Jeffery Edward Lee, Gallatin, TN;
2 sisters: Margaret Hill, Westmoreland, TN and Ivory Kelton, Greenbrier, TN;
10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Ivory Kay Johns; 6 brothers: Carl, Rob, Ralph, Archie, Hulan and Charles Hill and 1 sister: Louise Hill.
Funeral services will be 12:Noon Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Howser officiating and burial in Martin’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 7:00 A.M. Thursday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. According to the Kentucky Funeral Director’s Association social distancing and face mask are required and NO PUBLIC LOUNGE is available
