Wendell Stephens

Wendell Stephens, 86, of Edmonton died Friday, February 19th, 2021 at Metcalfe Health Care in Edmonton.   Born in 1934, the son of the late Henry and Mamie Stephens.    Wendell attended school in Metcalfe County and afterwards served in the United States Army.  Wendell was employed the Department of Fish and Wildlife as Conservation Officer in Metcalfe and surrounding counties, from which he retired after 25 years of service

Wendell is survived by his wife Misti Mosher Fields Stephens.  One son, Larry and wife Laurie Stephens.   Two stepsons, Nathan and wife Micah Fields, BJ and wife Kayce all of Edmonton.  Six grandchildren.  Amelia (Chris) Ferguson, Rebekah (Mike) Parrino, Quentin Stephanie) Stephens, Raylee, Parker and Gracelyn Fields.  Four great grandchildren.   Brooks and Collin Parrino.   Raelynn and Kinsley Stephens.

Funeral services for Wendell Stephens will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, at Butler Funeral Home with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens.   A walkthrough visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
