Kathy Melinda Emmert

Kathy Melinda Emmert, 58, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Friday, February 19th, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN.
Kathy was born in Tompkinsville, KY on December 29, 1962, a daughter of the late Francis and Uldean (Thompson) Emmert.
Kathy graduated from Tompkinsville High School in 1980. She worked as a Lab Tech at Scottsville Medical Center. She was also a beautician. Kathy attended Rock Valley Church of Christ.
Kathy  is survived by two sisters, Margene Birge, of Glasgow, KY;  Maydene Brady, of Gallatin, TN;  a brother, Jerry Emmert, and wife, Jean, of Tompkinsville, KY; two sisters-in-law, Sue Emmert, of Tompkinsville, KY and Anna Marie Emmert of Gamaliel, KY; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, Kathy is preceded in death by two brothers, Royce Emmert and Morris Emmert; one sister, Marcella Swain; and three brothers-in-law, Dale Swain, Randall Birge and Kenneth Brady.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd at 1:00 P.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Burial is in Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation is Monday, 4-8 PM, and Tuesday, 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Mt. Poland Cemetery, Jane Yokley Cemetery, or to Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
For the protection of Ms. Emmert’s family, it is kindly asked for anyone coming to the services to abide by Gov. Beshear’s recommendation of wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. No public lounge is available at this time.
