GLASGOW, Ky. – A speeding vehicle was stopped along the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway, and a small baggie of drugs was found inside the car.
Police made contact with Tony A. Sneed, 56, of Columbia, and received consent to search his car. Police located a meth pipe in the center console and a small baggie of methamphetamine inside his pants pocket.
Sneed was arrested and charged with speeding 13 moh over the limit (limited access), careless driving, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance (first offense), first degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sneed was lodged at the Barren County Jail. He was released shortly after noon on Tuesday.
