Glasgow News 1

Felicia Pyanowski, 31, of Glasgow, was sentenced Sept. 30 to 30 years in prison in a sexual offenses case involving four children, according to a news release from the office of Commonwealth’s Attorney John Gardner. Barren County Circuit Court imposed the sentence following her guilty plea in June.

Pyanowski entered the plea in exchange for a recommended 30-year sentence, the release said. The prison term imposed by the court matched that recommendation.

According to the release, Pyanowski must serve at least 20 years of her sentence before she becomes eligible for parole. That is the minimum period before eligibility, not a scheduled release date.

A Barren County grand jury previously indicted Pyanowski on several sexual offenses, including rape, sodomy and incest, the release said. The release does not separately identify the specific offenses covered by her guilty plea.

Capt. Jabin McGuire of the Glasgow Police Department investigated the case. The Barren County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office handled the prosecution.

Gardner said he was pleased Pyanowski accepted responsibility for her actions. He said her plea allows the children involved in the case to avoid the stress and additional trauma of testifying at trial.

The case also involves co-defendant Damon Dobbs, 58, of Indianapolis. His trial is scheduled to begin Jan. 13, 2027, according to the release.
