Bro. Ralph “Wayne” Jones, age 84, of Hardyville, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. He was a lifelong farmer, and an ordained minister. Wayne had a passion for helping others by preaching and spreading the gospel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James D. Jones, and Lillie Taylor Jones; one brother, James B. Jones; two great-granddaughters, Reese Ann Leasor, and Harper Lynn Leasor.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sandra Helen McDowell Jones; three daughters, Pamela Denise Dugan (Chip), Monica Lynn Lafollette (Steve); Karen Ann Leasor (Rick); one son, Eric Wayne Jones; two brothers, Bobby Jones, and Larry Jones (Clara); 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00PM Noon on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Winn Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Cub Run. Visitation will be held at Winn Funeral Home on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM, and will continue after 9:00AM on Saturday until the time of the service at 12:00PM.
