Lynn Marie Kelly, age 68 of Cave City, KY, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026 at the Medical Center at Caverna in Horse Cave. She was a retired elementary school secretary. She was a member of Hiseville Baptist Church. She loved horses, her dogs, and spending time with her grandkids. She was a wonderful wife, gold star mother, and a caring Mimi.
She was the daughter of the late Lewis Walter Taggart and the late Dorothy Pauline Jones Taggart.
She is preceded in death by two sons, Jason Lewis and Sean Patrick Kelly.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Alex Kelly, Cave City, KY; her son, Ryan Alexander Kelly (Jessica), Pitman, NJ; two grandchildren, Cameron Sean Kelly, Cave City, KY, and Daniel Alexander Kelly, Pitman, NJ; a sister, Beth Jean Glenn (Raymond), Pitman, NJ; nieces and nephews also survive.
Honoring Lynn’s wishes, cremation has been chosen and there are no services scheduled at this time. Brooks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
