Flossie Sturdivant Elkins, 94, of Park City, KY passed peacefully on Friday, September 18, 2026.
The Barren County native was the daughter of the late Harry and Willie Ann Brown Sturdivant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fount H. “Sonny” Elkins, also two daughters, Deborah Stiles and Betty L. Kirby and two sisters, Francis Sturdivant and Faye Crawhorn, two brothers Leon and Toddy Sturdivant. Flossie was an antique shop owner and attended Hillview Heights Church. She loved gardening and canning.
Her survivors are her daughter, Pamela Gray (Sammy); her son, Glen P. Elkins; seven grandchildren, Thomas J. Rich, Samuel K. Gray, III (Tracey), Mary R. Wright (Timmy), Tracy Tabor, Sherry Brown (Steven), Beth Gaddis and Jason Stiles (Wendy); multiple great and great great grandchildren; and a sister, Wanda Craig.
Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, September 20, at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with burial at Smiths Grove Cemetery.
