Donald Ray Wafford, age 84, went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2026 at Signature Healthcare of Bowling Green. He was born on May 9, 1942 to the late Wilbur and Ollie Wafford of Matoon IL. He was a Vietnam Veteran that served in the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn (CJ) Wafford, a daughter, Tamara Latham; his first wife, Wanda McCormick.
He is survived by three daughters, Deena Herron (Frankie), Lisa Davis (Tom), and Rochelle Larimore (Tommy); sister, Sharron Maguire (Larry); brother, Carlos Wafford; his grandchildren, Shawna O’Dell, Nathan Beals, Tiffany Bixby, Kyle Davis, Crystal Short, Michael Larimore, Joshua Rose, and Chris Rose; a host of great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date with Pastor Nicholas Short officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Winn Funeral Home.
