Chuck Cook, age 67, of Bowling Green, peacefully departed this life on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Bowling Green Nursing and Rehabilitation. The Jefferson County native was born on October 4, 1958, to the late Charles Lee and Frances Hayse Cook.
Chuck formerly worked at Kingfish Restaurant in Louisville. He was a simple man who found joy in life’s quiet moments. He enjoyed riding his bicycle, playing the guitar, and spending time in Brownsville at the Senior Active Day Center, where he appreciated the friendships and fellowship he found there. Quiet by nature, Chuck was content with a peaceful life and will be remembered for his gentle spirit and the simple pleasures that brought him happiness.
He leaves to honor his memory his cherished siblings, Rickie Cook and Rodger Cook, both of Louisville, and Tina Marie Embry (Johnny) of McDaniels, along with several beloved nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends who will remember him with love.
The interment will be in Deweese Family Cemetery.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 30, at Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel. Visitation is 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, and 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 30 at the funeral home.
