Debra Sanderson, 75, of Glasgow, Ky passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026 at NHC after an extended illness.
Debra was born on August 6, 1950 in Shelbyville, Ky to the late Joe Wiggins and Deloris Cowder.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her stepfather Elmer Cowder; her brother Billy Wigginton whom passed away in April of this year and her lifelong best friend Sylvia Allen.
She is survived by her sons Scotty Sanderson (Kim) of Glasgow, and Billy Sanderson of Franklin; grandchildren Jordyn Henry (Jonathan) and Briley Sanderson (Janaia) both of Cave City; grandchildren Emery Childress and Waylon Henry; her sons father Mike Sanderson; brothers, Mike Wigginton (Wilma) and Wes Wigginton both of Louisville; sister Felicia McWain (Dave) of Muskegon, Mt; and several nieces, nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m, Monday June 8, 2026 at Hayes Brothers Funeral Glasgow. Graveside service will follow at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with Rev. Barrett Wright officiating.
Hayes Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
