Chasity Renee Gearlds, age 48, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at her home. She was born on May 18, 1978, the daughter of Jerry Tim Copass and Lisa Gayle Hall. She was a CNA at Signature Healthcare of Monroe and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Tim Copass, and Lisa Cawthorn, she is survived by two daughters, Baylee Scott and Emberlyn Cain and her Fiancé, Hunter Harwood, and one son, Tucker Scott, all of Tompkinsville. Four grandchildren, Wren Turner, Brooks Gearlds, Kori Scott, and Locklynn Harwood, one sister, Dustee Spivey and husband Tyler, one niece, Karoline Endicott, along with a host of aunts, uncles and extended family also survive. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Golda E. (Pitcock) and Roger Earl Hall, and paternal grandparents, Robert Frank and Lillie (Rich) Copass.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Bartley and Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Jane Yokley Cemetery. Bro. Cary Kemp will officiate the service. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday after 7:00 a.m. until time for the service at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Funeral Home, to assist with final expenses. Pallbearers: Chris Copass, Randy Copass, Bronson Pitcock, Brandon Pitcock, Drew Carver, and Heath Moore. Bartley and Sons Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Chasity Gearlds and her family at this time.
