Western Kentucky University won its second consecutive women’s golf Conference USA Championship on Wednesday. The Lady Toppers defeated second-place Delaware by seven strokes at the Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, Texas.

Freshman Reagan Ramage claimed the individual title, becoming WKU’s third individual champion in the last four seasons (Sydney Hackett, 2025 and Catie Craig, 2023). She’s the first freshman to win a CUSA title since 2013 (Nico Engstroem Skaug, East Carolina). Ramage began the day tied for eighth place, but a 7-under 65 vaulted her into the lead.

Meanwhile, former Glasgow Lady Scottie Abbie Lee closed out her college career at Middle Tennessee with an even-par final round Wednesday. That helped her recover from a bumpy second round and finish tied for 28th. Lee sank four birdies in the final round, including on her final hole.

WKU is the first team to repeat as CUSA Champions since North Texas in 2022 and 2023. Ramage’s 65 (-7) is tied for the third lowest 18-hole score by a Lady Topper all-time. It’s tied with Megan Clarke’s 65 in 2021 as the lowest score in a conference tournament by a Lady Topper.

“I’m so proud of the team,” said head coach Adam Gary. “They handled adversity all semester with a good attitude and work ethic. It took almost 50 years to get the first one and it’s unreal to have two now. I’m so impressed with how our freshman Reagan played today. A 7-under, bogey-free round on this course is super impressive.”

The Lady Toppers have earned an automatic qualification for the NCAA Tournament and will learn which regional they will play in on Wednesday, April 29 during the NCAA Selection Show presented on the Golf Channel.
