Ruth Sheldon, age 77 born in the Cub Run community of Hart County, passed away Thursday, April 2nd at the University of Louisville Hospital.
She was a lifelong resident of Munfordville. She and her husband Robert owned and operated Sheldon’s Country Fixens in Munfordville, where she touched the lives of those around her with warmth and kindness. Those closest to her will remember the gentle nature and the love she poured into her family and community throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest & Dollie Dennis Taylor, her husband Robert Sheldon and her brothers Larry Taylor & Paul Smith.
Ruth is survived by a son Chris Sheldon and a brother Randell Taylor.
The funeral service for Ruth Sheldon will be 2pm Saturday, April 11th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Friday from 12-8pm and after 12noon Saturday until time for the service at 2pm.
Cremation will follow the service. Ruth had a love for animals so in lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Animal Rescue Kare of Hart County, P.O. Box 427, Munfordville, KY 42765.
