Harrison Leroy “Roy” Martin, 83, of Bowling Green, Ky passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at The Medical Center of Bowling Green.
Born April 12, 1942 in Barren County Kentucky, to the late Lawrence Martin Sr. and Ethel Bell Everett Martin. He attended school at Icy Sink elementary and ran his own backhoe service. Roy enjoyed watching westerns, wrestling, fishing, and hunting. Roy also loved spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his wife, Ruby Lee Martin, his sisters, Louise Martin, Mattie Cornwell (E.J), Gladys Cornwell(Alvin), and Dorothy Martin. And, stepson, Robert.(Bobby) McFadden.
He leaves two sisters, Barbara Martin Wilson (Joe), and Laura Lockhart (James); brother Lawrence Martin Junior (Emma); Stepchildren; Sharon (Sherry) Anderson(Carl), Donna “Day” Bell (Robert), Tyra Rowe (Nick), Stephanie “Bread” Hart (Chris), Carmon Hall, Kita Ford (Andre), and Victor “Vic” Hall (Dee); and a host of great-great grandchildren, great grandchildren, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends, special nieces, Janet Cornwell and Sylena Wilson; and special caregiver, Stephanie Hart.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 10, 2026 at Harlows Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Keith Rowlett officiating. Burial will follow at Oddfellow Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. until the time of service Friday, April 10, 2026 at Harlows Chapel Baptist Church.
