Larry “Steve” Wright, age 73 of Munfordville, KY, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026, at his home. He was a retired truck driver for Reynolds Brothers’ Trucking and Anderson Forrest Products. After retiring, he would restore tractors with his son. He enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR.
He is the son of the late Dewey T. Wright and the late Lola Judd Wright.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Pruitt.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Denise Coffey Wright, Munfordville, Ky; two sons, Steven Wayne Wright (Traci), Edmonton, KY, John P. McCubbins (Rebecca), Bowling Green, KY; three grandchildren, Shelby Wright, Munfordville, KY, Charlie McCubbins, Bowling Green, KY, and Brylei McCubbins, Bowling Green, KY; one great-grandchild, Jaxton Page; three brothers, Tommy Wright (Sue), Oakridge, TN, James R. Wright (Patricia), Munfordville, KY, and Morris Neal Wright, Glasgow, KY; two sisters, Judy Arnett (Raymond), Greensburg, KY and Betsy Warren, Campbellsville, KY; many nieces, nephews and other extended family also survive.
Honoring Steve’s wishes, cremation has been chosen, and services will be held at a later date.
