Billy Lee Norris, age 41, of Horse Cave, departed this life on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at The Medical Center at Caverna. The Metcalfe County native was born on September 21, 1984, to Martha Ellen Norris and the late William Dwight Norris. He was married to his soul mate, Brandie Nicole Norris, who survives.
Billy was known for his incredible work ethic and the pride he took in everything he did. He worked in maintenance at Akebono Brake, where his dedication and reliability never went unnoticed. More importantly, Billy had a deep love for the Lord and cherished his church family at Riverlake Church, where he found strength, fellowship, and a sense of belonging. In his quieter moments, Billy found peace and joy in the outdoors. Whether he was playing disc golf, hunting in the early morning hours, casting a line in the water, or practicing archery, he felt most at home surrounded by nature.
Besides his wife and mother, Brandie and Martha Ellen, he leaves to honor his memory— his children, Gracie Fritz (Josh) of Summer Shade and Stayley Craine of Horse Cave; his sister, Amanda Grace Vancamp (Matthew) of Summer Shade; special great uncle, Phillip Norris (Lois) and nephews and nieces, Conner Vancamp, Carson Vancamp, Faith Vancamp, Sofia Gipson, Tynley Gipson, Landon Gipson and Haisley Gipson.
The interment will be in Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery, Randolph, KY.
