With the help of former Barren County Trojan Aden Nyekan, Georgetown College opens its nation-leading 45th NAIA Men’s National Tournament on Friday.
The Tigers face Indiana Kokomo at 5 p.m. central time at home. In their last outing, they fell to Bethel, 82-74, in the Mid-South Conference quarterfinals at Bowling Green High School. Nyekan scored 13 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in that game.
The former Trojan has started 29 games for Georgetown this season. He averaged 10 points, six rebounds per game, and was named to the all-conference second team.
