T.J. Regional Home Health has been named a Best Home Health agency for 2026 by U.S. News and World Report in the publication’s first nationwide review of home health providers.
More than three million patients turn to home health agencies each year, according to U.S. News. This recognition highlights T.J. Regional Health’s home care services as among the top-performing agencies in the United States.
The new Best Home Health analysis is intended to give patients and families an independent view of quality as they make decisions about in-home care.
In this first edition, U.S. News evaluated more than 12,000 agencies across the country, and only about 17% earned the Best Home Health designation. T.J. Regional Home Health received the High Performing designation from U.S. News, which the publication identifies as its highest level of recognition.
That rating is based on the outlet’s methodology for measuring how agencies meet or exceed expectations for care quality and patient experience.
Shara Page, administrator of home care services at T.J. Regional Health, said the honor reflects the extraordinary dedication of the entire home health team.
“Being recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a top home health provider is a tremendous honor and reflects the extraordinary dedication of the entire home health team,” Page said. “Our interdisciplinary team of clinicians, caregivers, and support professionals work together to deliver compassionate, person-centered care. We approach every patient as if we were caring for our own loved one while partnering with physicians, caregivers, and community programs to ensure coordinated, high-quality care in the home. For the T.J. home care team, it is a great privilege to help patients heal, regain independence, and experience the comfort and dignity of care at home.”
Ben Harder, chief of health analysis and managing editor at U.S. News, said earning the Best Home Health distinction is a significant achievement, reserved for agencies that meet the outlet’s standards for quality and patient experience.
T.J. Home Care Services also recently marked its 50th anniversary of providing home health services to residents of southcentral Kentucky, a milestone that coincides with the new national recognition.
